Fake Bhutanese refugee case: Testimony of three defendants taken

KATHMANDU, May 30: The testimony of three defendants have been taken on Tuesday, today in the case of the fake Bhutanese refugee. The defendants who gave their statements today are Sandesh Sharma, Indrajeet Rai and Narendra KC.

The testimony of the three defendants was taken by the bench of Justice Prem Prasad Neupane. 

The testimony of the accused began on May 26 at the Kathmandu District Court. Among the 30 defendants in the case, 17 have been arrested while 13 are still absconding.

Earlier, the testimony of Keshab Prasad Dulal, Sagar Rai, Sandeep Rayamajhi, Laxmi Maharjan and Tanka Kumar Gurung had been taken.
