Fake Bhutanese refugee case: Testimony of additional accused today

KATHMANDU, May 28: The testimony of the accused involved in the fake Bhutanese refugee case is continuing today as well. The testimony of the accused will continue in bench number 25 of the Kathmandu District Court, which is the bench of Justice Prem Prasad Neupane.

The testimony of Keshab Prasad Dulal and Sagar Rai was completed on Friday. After the testimony is completed, the closed debate will begin. 17 people are imprisoned on the charge of running a fraudulent business in the name of sending Bhutanese refugees to America. Officials involved in the prosecution say that it will take at least 6 days to complete the testimony in court.

Two bench officers took the testimony under Judge Neupane's bench on Friday. An officer of Kathmandu District Court told Ratopati that preparations are being made to take the testimony of one more person by adding a bench officer on Sunday.
