Police search Top Bahadur Rayamajhi's residence

KATHMANDU, May 9: Police have searched the residence of former Minister and Secretary of CPN UML, Top Bahadur Rayamajhi. The team of District Police Range Kathmandu searched his residence at Satdobato.

Police searched Rayamajhi's residence as Police have been looking for the absconding Rayamajhi after an arrest warrant has been issued against him. Chief SSP of the District Police Range Kathmandu informed of the search in Rayamajhi's residence, but he is yet to be found. 

After an arrest warrant was issued against both Rayamajhi and his son Sandeep Rayamajhi, Police arrested Sandeep, but Top Bahadur has been absconding. Top Bahadur had arrived in Bhairahawa from Arghakhanchi but became contactless after that.

Both the father and son have been accused of sending Nepalese citizens to America by making them into Bhutanese refugees. 8 people have been arrested in the case so far.
