Clash between Paudel and Nemwang for presidency certain

KATHMANDU, Feb. 25: In the presidential election, there will be a clash between CPN UML and the eight-party alliance including Congress. With CPN-UML also deciding to field a candidate for the presidency, it is certain that there will be a clash between the two parties.

With the help of the eight-party alliance, Congress has decided to make senior leader Ramchandra Paudel a candidate. Spokesperson Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat informed that the meeting of the Congress Working Committee held on Saturday morning unanimously decided to make Paudel the presidential candidate.

Similarly, the secretariat meeting of UML held today decided to make Subas Chandra Nemwang a candidate. Leader Surendra Pandey informed that the meeting decided to make Nemwang a candidate. 

Along with this, both of them will reach the parliament building in New Baneshwar today and register their candidature. 

The presidential election will be held on March 9.
