PHC calls for complaints against Supreme Court Judge nominees

Kathmandu, October 1 — The Parliamentary Hearing Committee has urged the public to submit complaints against the recommended Supreme Court judges, Nripadhwaj Niraula and Nityananda Pandey, within 10 days.

The committee's secretariat issued a notice today calling for complaints against them. This directive came after the committee met on Monday and instructed the secretariat to invite grievances.

Nripadhwaj Niraula, the Chief Justice of the Patan High Court, and Nityananda Pandey, the Chief Justice of the Tulsipur High Court, were recommended for appointment to the Supreme Court by a meeting of the Judicial Council last Friday.
