JNU Vice Chancellor to be Chief Guest at TU 43rd convocation ceremony

Kathmandu, All preparations for 43rd convocation ceremony of the Tribhuvan University scheduled on coming Sunday have completed. 
Joint Examination Controller at the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Tribhuvan University, Pashupati Adhikari, said that all preparations for the ceremony taking place at the ground of Pulchowk Campus, Lalitpur, have been completed. 
He said that Vice-Chancellor at Jawaharlal Nehru University, Prof Dr M Jagadesh Kumar, has been invited as the chief guest of the ceremony. Vice-Chancellor Kumar is scheduled to arrive here on Friday. 
The TU has the tradition of inviting an academician of universities of foreign countries as the chief guest at its convocation ceremony. 
A total of 8,267 graduates including 62 Ph D holders would get graduation certificate on the occasion. Thirty-one students securing highest marks in the examinations of various subjects would be awarded the degrees on the occasion.
