Sunsari flood: bereaved families provided financial assistance

Inaruwa - The District Administration Office (DAO) , Sunsari has provided compensation of Rs 200,000 to each six families who lost their family members to the flood a week ago in Sunsari. 

Chief District Officer (CDO) Gopal Prasad Parajuli and a team lead by him met the families of the deceased and provided the relief amount that the government pledged earlier here today in the first round. 

Altogether 12 people had lost their lives to flood-related incidents in various places in the district, the DAO, Sunsari. 

Families of Asha Devi Rai, Chanda Tamang, Sunita Dhimal, Ishower Sunuwar, Manu Shrestha and Upendra Mandal received the aid. 

The rest six families would be provided the compensation soon, according to CDO Parajuli.
