Man dies after jumping from a vehicle in Surkhet

Surkhet, March 14 — A 37-year-old man from Birendranagar Municipality-12, Laxmi Prasad Upadhyaya, has died after jumping from a vehicle.

The incident occurred when he fell from the door of a Force vehicle, numbered BA 1 KHA 1904, around 11 PM last night while traveling from Tinkune Chowk towards Itram in Birendranagar Municipality-12.

After being taken to the hospital, doctors declared him dead due to the injuries sustained from the fall.

According to Superintendent of Police Rupesh Khadka from the District Police Office, Surkhet, the driver of the vehicle has been taken into custody, and an investigation is ongoing.
