'Project should be included in project banks for budget allocation'

Hetauda–Chief Minister of Province No. 3 Dormani Poudel has claimed to end the whimsical trend of budget allocation and plans based on an individual's interest.

At a discussion programme on project bank establishment and operation organized by Province Policy and Planning Commission, the Chief Minister clarified that the budget would not be allocated to the projects that are not included in the project bank.

The Chief Minister added that the projects would be operated only by identifying their features and potentials. Poudel was of the opinion that the projects would be selected as per the real need and demand of the targeted communities.

On the occasion, Vice Chairperson of Commission Dr Khimlal Devkota said that the project bank would help to take the projects in the implementation phase based on priority.
