Body of missing seven – year – old found floating in river

Khotang - A seven – year – old boy was found floating in a river at Kopilasagadhi rural municipality – 5 in the northern rim of the district.

Robin Rai from ward no 4 of the same municipality had been missing since August 7. The fishermen had spotted the boy floating in the local Tap river, and immediately informed the police. His body has been taken to the Dikktel District Hospital for a post – mortem examination report, police said.

The boy had gone fishing with his friends when he slipped over a stone and disappeared into the river. His family members had been searching for him ever since.
