Two Dead in Lamjung Landslide

Pokhara. Two people have died in a landslide in Dhansar, Lamjung. A two-story Dhansar belonging to Bishnu Dutt Subedi was destroyed when a canal broke in Bhatbesi, Ward No. 7 of Madhyanepal Municipality.

Police have stated that Tik Bahadur BK and his youngest daughter Binita BK, residents of Dhansar, from Ghyanpokhara, Marsyangdi Rural Municipality-1, died when the Dhansar collapsed.

Four people, including them, were injured when the Dhansar collapsed. Chief of EPRKA Ghorletar, Dhruv Prasad Sharma, informed that among the injured, mother Suk Kumari BK and another daughter Asmita BK are undergoing treatment at Paschimanchal Hospital in Pokhara.
