Netanyahu to Meet Trump at White House

Kathmandu. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to meet US President Donald Trump at the White House on Tuesday. The Israeli Prime Minister's office has provided this information.

Netanyahu's visit comes at a time when tensions are escalating between the two leaders over managing the war with Iran. Netanyahu's office stated, "Prime Minister Netanyahu is scheduled to meet President Trump at the White House on Tuesday. During the visit, he will attend the funeral of the late US Senator Lindsey Graham."

Prime Minister Netanyahu will depart for Washington on Monday. This will be the sixth meeting between the two leaders since Trump was re-elected as US President last year.

They have a close relationship. Prime Minister Netanyahu has praised President Trump at the White House as Israel's 'greatest friend'.

The new program has been set at a time when news has been emerging of tensions in their alliance in recent months, after Trump increased pressure on his ally Netanyahu this year during complex negotiations over the Iran deal.
