JSPN Old Executive Committee Meeting Begins to Discuss Merger

Kathmandu. The old executive committee meeting of Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal has started. The executive committee meeting of the JSP Nepal that existed before merging with Loktantrik Samajwadi Party Nepal led by Mahanta Thakur has convened.

The meeting held at the central office of JSP Nepal will discuss the merger with Lospa Nepal. A merger between Lospa Nepal and JSP Nepal took place last Poush. The Election Commission has also recognized the party. However, the party has not been finalized. The meeting has been called to discuss the adjustment, formation of the central committee, and other issues between the two parties.

Issues of adjustment between the two parties are not being resolved. There are many aspirants in both parties. JSP Nepal leader Shailendra Shah stated that the old executive committee meeting of JSP Nepal is being held to discuss how to include them.

An agreement has been reached between both parties to finalize the adjustment issue by reaching an agreement within their respective parties and holding a joint meeting. It is reported that the old executive committee meeting of Lospa Nepal will also be held immediately after the JSP Nepal meeting.
