CPN (UML) Chairman Oli Directs Federal Lawmakers to Present People's Voice Strongly in Parliament

Kathmandu. Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (UML) KP Sharma Oli has directed his federal lawmakers to present the people's voice strongly in parliament with facts, logic, and study.

Addressing a training program organized by the UML Central Parliamentary Department at the party's central office in Chyasal today, former Prime Minister Oli expressed confidence that effective role in parliament based on fact-based debate, deep study of public interest issues, and keeping national interest at the center would further strengthen democratic practice.

"A strong opposition is not just a force that criticizes the government. UML has conducted this training by connecting political experience with the knowledge, research, and intellectual capacity of experts," he said, "You all have to strive to establish a new standard of capable, responsible, and visionary opposition to make the policy-making voice of the people even louder based on facts and evidence, and to make the government more accountable."

Party Vice-Chairman and Parliamentary Party Leader Ram Bahadur Thapa 'Badal', Vice-Chairman Prithvi Subba Gurung, General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, Deputy Leader of the Parliamentary Party Padmakumari Aryal, among others, provided training at the program.
