Parliamentary Committee Urges Home Ministry to Facilitate Meeting Between Binu Yadav, Niharika Rajput, and Home Minister

Kathmandu. The Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee of the House of Representatives has urged the Home Ministry to create an environment for Binu Yadav and Niharika Rajput to meet with the Home Minister.

Speaking at a committee meeting held at Singha Durbar on Sunday, Chairperson Samiksha Baskota stated that any citizen should be able to meet the minister to present their demands. She requested the Home Ministry to coordinate as necessary to create an environment for the meeting.

Niharika and Binu, who had gone to Singha Durbar gate on Saturday to protest by ringing a bell, stating they were unable to present their problems to the Home Minister, were removed by the police after being manhandled.

"Regarding the issue of citizenship, necessary initiatives will be taken in coordination with the relevant bodies concerning Binu Yadav and Niharika Rajput. Specifically, the Home Ministry has been requested to arrange a meeting when citizens wish to present their problems to the minister," said Chairperson Baskota.
