Madhesh Province Government Continues Coalition

Janakpurdham. A decision has been made to continue the coalition government in Madhesh Province, comprising Congress, Nepal Communist Party (UML), and Nepal Communist Party (NCP).

A discussion held on Thursday between Congress Parliamentary Party Leader and Chief Minister Krishna Prasad Yadav, UML Parliamentary Party Leader Saroj Kumar Yadav, and NCP Parliamentary Party Leader and Finance Minister Yuvraj Bhattarai decided to maintain the current coalition.

After the discussion, Finance Minister and NCP Parliamentary Party Leader Bhattarai stated that due to the different political situation in Madhesh Province compared to other provinces, an agreement was reached to continue the coalition here.

He informed that although the cooperation between Congress and UML is ending in other provinces, an agreement has been reached to maintain this political equation in Madhesh Province.
