25 Arrested in Various Locations with Drugs

Kathmandu. 25 people have been arrested with drugs from various places. 25 people have been arrested with drugs in districts including Nawalparasi, Tanahun, Mahottari, Jhapa. In Nawalparasi West, Sarawal Rural Municipality-3 Kothilla, police arrested 2 people on Tuesday afternoon with 200 ampoules of Diazepam, 200 ampoules of Phenergan, and 200 ampoules of Buprenorphine. The arrested are Ramesh Harijan, 20, residing in the same rural municipality-4, and Ramprasad Harijan, 19, residing in Badahra of the same rural municipality-5. Police, including a team from the Narcotics Control Bureau Branch Office, Bhairahawa, found them with the said substances while they were riding a motorcycle with UP 57 AS 3235 number and arrested them. Similarly, in Tanahun, Aabukhaireni Rural Municipality-4 Benitar, police arrested Sujan Thapa, 25, residing in Ratnechaur, Benpa Municipality-4, Myagdi, with 67 ampoules of Diazepam, 67 ampoules of Phenergan, and 67 ampoules of Buprenorphine late last night. Police from the temporary police post Mugling Puljip found him with the said substances while he was riding a motorcycle with G.15 P 5800 number coming from Narayangadh to Pokhara and arrested him. Likewise, in Tanahun, Aabukhaireni Rural Municipality-4 Benitar, police arrested Dev Bahadur Thapa Magar, 59, residing in Gorkha Gandaki Rural Municipality-6, with approximately 2 kilograms of substance that looks like marijuana on Wednesday morning. Police from the temporary police post Mugling Puljip found him with the said marijuana while he was riding a bus with Gandaki Giea 0071 number going from Kathmandu to Pokhara and arrested him. Meanwhile, in Mahottari, Matihani Municipality-8, police arrested 2 people on Tuesday morning with approximately 11 kg 492 grams of substance that looks like marijuana. The arrested are Aman Mahto, 20, residing in Ashok Bihar Jayjay Colony Bajirpur Patharbala Bagh, Delhi Province, India, and Mo. Kaif, 20. Police from the Matihani Police Post found them with the said marijuana and arrested them. Similarly, in Mahottari, Bardibas Municipality-1, police arrested Suraj Giri, 28, residing in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-9, Dhading, with 550 milligrams of substance that looks like brown sugar on Tuesday night. Police, including a team from the Narcotics Control Bureau Branch Office, Bardibas, found him with the said substance while he was riding a taxi with Ba.Pra.01-002 Ja 9223 number going from Inaruwa to Kathmandu and arrested him. Similarly, in Jhapa, Birtamod Municipality-8 Deuniya Pool, police arrested Manish Limbu, 27, residing in Bhadrapur Municipality-4, with 1 gram 35 milligrams of substance that looks like brown sugar on Tuesday night. Police from the temporary police post Garamani found him with the said substance and arrested him. Similarly, in Jhapa, Damak Municipality-1 Shiksha Marg, police arrested Amber Samba, 28, residing in Mangsebung Rural Municipality-3, with 320 milligrams of substance that looks like Khairo heroin on Tuesday afternoon. Police from the Damak Area Police Office found him with the said substance and arrested him. Similarly, in Rolpa, Thawang Rural Municipality-1 Buspark, police arrested Nirdoshi Roka, 38, residing in Cherlabang of the same rural municipality-2, with 166 grams 610 milligrams of substance that looks like marijuana on Tuesday afternoon. Police from the Ghartigaon Area Police Office found her with the said substance and arrested her. In Morang, Belbari Municipality-4 Budbare, police arrested Sunil Rai, 35, residing in the same place, with 61 grams 920 milligrams of substance that looks like brown sugar and cash Rs 72,000 on Tuesday evening. Police from the Belbari Area Police Office found him with the said substance and arrested him. Similarly, in Morang, Pathari Sanischare Municipality-5 Shanti Chowk, police arrested Sunil Paswan, 25, residing in Sunsari Municipality-1, with 750 milligrams of substance that looks like brown sugar on Tuesday afternoon. Police from the temporary police post Kushal Bazar found him with the said substance while he was riding a motorcycle with Pr 1-02-049 P 5878 number and arrested him. In Banke, Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City-10 Traffic Chowk, police arrested Totaram Kahar, 57, residing in the same sub-metropolitan city-15, with 660 milligrams of substance that looks like brown sugar on Tuesday afternoon. Police from the Narcotics Control Bureau Branch Office, Nepalgunj, found him with the said substance and arrested him. Similarly, in Mugu, Chhayanath Rara Municipality-7 Balai, police arrested 3 people on Tuesday night with 2 grams 61 milligrams of substance that looks like Khairo heroin. The arrested are Janak Hitaang, 24, Prakash Malla, 26, and Ang Bahadur Malla, 33, residing in Chhataal Bada of the same municipality-1. Police from the Mugu District Police Office found them with the said substance while they were riding a motorcycle with an untest written on it coming from Jumla to Gamgadhi and arrested them. In Sunsari, Barahkshetra Municipality-5, police arrested Sougat Sunuwar, 25, residing in Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-18, with 7 grams 570 milligrams of substance that looks like brown sugar on Tuesday evening. Police from the Barahkshetra Area Police Office found him with the said substance while he was riding a scooter with Ko.28 P 2432 number and arrested him. Similarly, in Siraha, Mirchaiya Municipality-6 Katari Chowk, police arrested 3 people on Tuesday night with 70 milligrams of substance that looks like brown sugar and cash Rs 22,250 from a bakery shop. The arrested are Chandra Prasad Giri, 32, Umesh Shrestha, 35, residing in Jiwa Tole of the same municipality-8, and Devkumar Paswan, 21, residing in the same municipality-6. Police from the Mirchaiya Area Police Office searched the shop operated by Umesh and found the said substance and arrested them. In Kailali, Bhajani Municipality-8 Kandapul, police arrested Bhikhu Chaudhary, 27, residing in Shaktinagar Sibir, Tikapur Municipality-1, with 870 milligrams of substance that looks like brown sugar on Tuesday night. Police from the Janakpur Police Post found him with the said substance and arrested him. Similarly, in Kailali, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-5, police arrested Prakash Aauji, 32, residing in Bhimdatta Municipality-6, Kanchanpur, along with 2 other people on Tuesday night with 129 milligrams of substance that looks like brown sugar. Police from the Kailali District Police Office and other teams found them with the said substance and arrested them. Similarly, in Surkhet, Birendranagar Municipality-7 Milan Chowk, police arrested Deepak Bahadur Shahi, 36, residing in the same place, with 2 grams 80 milligrams of substance that looks like brown sugar on Tuesday afternoon. Police from the Narcotics Control Bureau Branch Office, Surkhet, found him with the said substance and arrested him. Police are investigating the matter.
