MP Sangraula Warns Government Against Violating Rules

Kathmandu. Labor Culture Party MP Ambikadevi Sangraula said that while it sounds good to say that the government led by Balen is like a car running on an expressway, it will not sound good if that car crashes.

Speaking in the House of Representatives meeting on Wednesday, MP Sangraula hinted that the government is going beyond the law and procedures, and warned that if it is not stopped, it could lead to an accident.

'The fundamental basis of the rule of law must apply to everyone. When the Prime Minister himself breaks the rules, we cannot expect ordinary citizens to follow them,' Sangraula said. 'Yesterday too, when Honorable Khusbu Oli was speaking, the Prime Minister violated the regulations. It is not individuals, but the law that builds the country.'
