NCIT Successfully Completes Inter-College Cyber Security Competition 'Kavach: Capture The Flag'

Lalitpur. Nepal College of Information Technology (NCIT) Computer Engineering and Tech Club (CITC) has successfully completed the inter-college cyber security competition 'Kavach: Capture The Flag'.

The program organized at the college in Balkumari was conducted in collaboration with Nepal Tech Community (NTK) and with the technical partnership of 'Y3TI@Sec'.

The organizers stated that the program was organized with the aim of expanding cyber security awareness, practical learning, and networking among technology-loving students from various colleges in Nepal.

In this competition, where a maximum of two participants were allowed per team, a total of 53 students from 30 teams participated. Among them were seven solo teams and 23 teams with two members. Students from various colleges including Softwarica College, Herald College, Texas College, KIST, NCIT, Trinity, Shankar Dev, and Cosmos competed in the competition.

Amidst intense competition, Softwarica College's 'Prism' team became the first in the competition by scoring 4252 points. The first-place team received a 100% free course, cash prize, and gift hamper from TechAxis.

Similarly, Softwarica College's 'Pseudo Siblings' team came second. They received a 50% discount on TechAxis courses and a cash prize. Texas College's 'Cozy Bears' team secured third place and managed to get a 30% discount on TechAxis courses and a cash prize.
