Weather Forecast: Monsoon Influence Across Nepal with Moderate to Heavy Rainfall Expected

Kathmandu. Currently, the monsoon wind's influence is present across the country, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology. The low-pressure line of the monsoon is currently located slightly above its average position in the west and near the Terai region of Nepal in the east.

Due to this, there is generally cloudy weather across the country. Light to moderate rainfall is occurring in some places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, and in one or two places in Sudurpaschim.

This afternoon, most of the country will be cloudy. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall with thunderstorms in some places in the mountainous regions of the country. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall with thunderstorms in many places in the hilly regions of the country.
