Protest Held Demanding Justice for Ganesh Nepali

Kathmandu. A protest was held on the road in front of Bir Hospital demanding justice for Ganesh Nepali, who died after attempting self-immolation. His relatives, friends, and supporters took to the streets on Saturday to protest for his justice. The protest was attended by former Dalit lawmakers from Mugu and film director Minvan Banko. While the protest was proceeding peacefully, the situation became somewhat tense when the participants tried to go onto the road. During that time, there was also some pushing and shoving between the protesters and the Nepal Police.
