National Assembly Meeting Scheduled for Today

Kathmandu. The National Assembly meeting under the Federal Parliament is convening today. The meeting will commence from 12:15 PM.

In the meeting, the concerned ministers will respond to the questions raised regarding the headings of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Ministry of Agriculture, Forest and Environment, Ministry of Infrastructure Development, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Defence, Office of the President, Office of the Vice-President, Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, and the Secretariat of the National Planning Commission under the Appropriation Bill, 2083.

Likewise, the Chairperson will present the proposals for expenditure reduction on various headings under the Appropriation Bill, 2083 for decision.

The agenda includes the Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle presenting the proposal to pass the Appropriation Bill, 2083, received with a message from the House of Representatives, and presenting the proposals to consider the Finance Bill, 2083, and the Public Debt Raising Bill, 2083, received with messages from the House of Representatives.
