Prachanda Claims Only Oli Can Undermine Him, Not Balen Shah

Kathmandu. CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has stated that no one else has the capability to weaken him compared to CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli. He made this remark while addressing a program in Kathmandu on Sunday.

He further claimed that Prime Minister Balendra Shah does not have the capability to finish him off and that Prime Minister Shah is not at the same level as Oli in activities aimed at weakening him. He accused Oli of plotting to imprison them if they had made mistakes. He also alleged that Oli used all his might to weaken them. 

Chairman Dahal said, 'Let's build the party well until the general convention, bring in the youth, and form a new leadership team. After the general convention, I hear discussions about imprisoning me daily; Madhav ji has been made to fight cases by the previous government. Sometimes it is said that Prachanda has 140 billion in Dubai, what is this, what is that. If anything had happened, the current government would not have had to do it. Balen ji's government would not have had to do anything to Madhav and me; KP Oli was enough. What we have where, how to trap them and finish them off, Balen ji is not at the height of KP. But we are also talking about cooperation if we need the leftist movement again. Now call this our sense of responsibility or generosity.'

He also expressed dissatisfaction, stating that the party's co-coordinator was kept imprisoned by the previous government on charges and that misinformation was spread about him having 140 billion in Dubai.
