Indian National Arrested in Siraha After Police Firing

Siraha. Police have arrested an Indian national by firing a shot in Siraha. The arrested person has been identified as Abdul Kalam, approximately 24 years old, a resident of Madhubani district, Bihar, India.

Kalam, who was injured by a police bullet, has been admitted to the Provincial Hospital, Siraha. Police have recovered 122.8 milligrams of brown sugar from his possession.

According to Information Officer Pal, they had arrived on two motorcycles with four individuals. Three individuals managed to escape when the police opened fire. Police have also recovered two Indian-numbered motorcycles from the scene.

It has been reported that they fled towards India. A few days ago, Siraha police had also arrested two Indian drug traffickers by firing shots in Siraha.
