Shram Sanskriti Party Chairman Harka Raj Rai Criticizes Government's 100-Day Performance

Kathmandu. Shram Sanskriti Party Chairman Harka Raj Rai has commented that the government has not been able to work in a way that the public can feel in its first 100 days. He gave this reaction to the media at Tribhuvan International Airport on Friday after returning to Kathmandu following the inauguration of a suspension bridge in a remote village of Darchula.

Chairman Rai claimed that although the government tried to do something, it could not deliver results that the public could feel. He also recalled that they have been advising the government to control the high inflation. Chairman Rai said that his feeling was that the public had not felt the results of the government's work in the first 100 days.

He said, 'They have made efforts. But the results have not been felt much by the public. The results should be felt. Inflation has increased a lot. Our advice and suggestions have been that inflation must be controlled now. When I was in Darchula, I saw that there was no mass communication there. Now we cannot even see it. It is said that the price of petrol has decreased a little.'

Chairman Rai supported the government's recent decision to reduce the price of petroleum products. He also expressed happiness at being able to participate in the development of Darchula district, which is remote.
