Newly Elected Central Members of Rastriya Swatantra Party Take Oath

Kathmandu. Newly elected central members of the ruling party Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have taken an oath of office and secrecy. 

On Wednesday, party president Rabi Lamichhane administered the oath of office and secrecy to the central members at the central office in Ghantaghar. 

From Asar 7 to 12, one president and 99 hundred central members were elected from the first national convention held in Chitwan. According to the RSP's statute, there is a provision for a 151-member central committee. Of these, 100 are elected and 51 are nominated by the president as per the statute.  All central members and office bearers also took the oath and received certificates.
