Man Detained for Abusive Behavior Towards Karnali Health Sciences Institute Doctors

Jumla. Police have taken a youth into custody and are investigating him on charges of abusive behavior towards doctors working in the emergency room of Karnali Health Sciences Institute Teaching Hospital in Jumla.

According to the District Police Office, Jumla, 30-year-old Lava Bahadur Sejuwal, a resident of Chandannath Municipality-3, entered the emergency room around 12 PM last Wednesday in an intoxicated state and engaged in abusive behavior towards the doctors on duty.

According to the police, Sejuwal has previously been known to enter the institute premises without authorization and engage in abusive behavior.

Following the incident, a case has been registered under the Health Institution Security Act, 2066 (First Amendment 2079). The District Police Office, Jumla, stated that further investigation into the incident is underway with a five-day remand extension granted by the Jumla District Court.
