Belgium Leads New Zealand 4-1 in FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifier

Kathmandu. In the FIFA World Cup 2026 Group 'G' match, Belgium has taken a wide 4-1 lead against New Zealand.

In the ongoing match at BC Place in Vancouver, Canada, Belgium's Leandro Trossard gave the team an excellent start by scoring in the 28th and 50th minutes. Then, in the 66th minute, captain Kevin De Bruyne added another goal to extend the lead to 3-0. In the 84th minute of the game, Elijah Just scored a consolation goal for New Zealand. However, two minutes later, Romelu Lukaku scored to re-establish Belgium's three-goal lead. Lukaku made an easy finish from Nicolas Raskin's pass to make the score 4-1.

Belgium has maintained control of the ball throughout the game and displayed an aggressive performance, while New Zealand has been under continuous pressure due to defensive weaknesses.
