Golbazar Municipality Declared Fully Vaccinated

Siraha. Golbazar Municipality has been declared fully vaccinated and sustainable on Friday, with the assurance that all children within the Golbazar Municipality area have received full vaccination.

Assurance has been given that 1,007 children aged 0 to 15 months are receiving regular vaccinations and 1,923 children aged 16 to 59 months have received full vaccination, after which Golbazar Municipality in the district has been declared fully vaccinated.

Shyam Kumar Shrestha, Mayor of Golbazar Municipality and Member Secretary of the Vaccination Coordination Committee, said that the declaration of full vaccination assurance and sustainability was made after it was confirmed that all children within the 13 wards of Golbazar Municipality had received full vaccination.

Under the main slogan 'Vaccinated Future', the municipality was declared a fully vaccinated and sustainable municipality in a ceremony today. Saroj Karne, head of the health branch of Golbazar Municipality, informed that children of the specified age group have completed all doses of vaccination according to the national vaccination schedule.

In the current year, Lahan and Dhanagadhi Mai municipalities within Siraha district have also been declared fully vaccinated.

Dinesh Kumar Mahato, Chairman of the District Vaccination Coordination Committee Siraha, stated that there is a plan to declare the district fully vaccinated by Asar 25 by declaring all local levels within the district.

Health branch chief Karna said that the municipality has been declared fully vaccinated and sustainable after completing all necessary procedures according to the vaccination directive. He said that children have completed all doses of various 13 types of vaccines against diseases such as polio, measles, hepatitis, Japanese encephalitis, rubella, diarrhea, and typhoid.
