Parliament to Present Five Bills Today; Audit Report and Economic Bill on Agenda

Kathmandu. Five bills are to be presented in today's meeting of the House of Representatives. The agenda includes passing the Auditor General's Annual Report and the Economic Bill, 2083.

According to the probable agenda published by the Federal Parliament Secretariat, in the meeting to be held at 1:00 PM today, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Sobita Gautam, on behalf of Prime Minister Balen Shah, will present the 39th Annual Report of the Auditor General, 2083, in the House.

After that, Minister Gautam will seek permission to present the Public Procurement (Second Amendment) Bill, 2083, and the agenda includes presenting the said bill in the House.

Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle will present a proposal seeking permission to present the Property Foreclosure (Money Laundering) Prevention (Third Amendment) Bill, 2083, while Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration Minister Pratibha Rawal will present the Cooperatives (First Amendment) Bill, 2083.

In the meeting, Health and Food Hygiene Minister Nisha Mehta will present the bill to amend some Nepal Acts related to Health Sciences Academy, 2083, along with a proposal seeking permission to present the related bill in the House.

In the meeting, there will be a discussion on the amendments received on the Economic Bill, 2083, the amendments will be presented for decision, and the Finance Minister will present the proposal to pass the said bill.

Similarly, Finance Minister Wagle will present a proposal for clause-wise discussion on the National Debt Raising Bill, 2083. After the received amendments are presented for decision, he will also present the proposal to pass the said bill in the House, according to the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
