NC Internal Dispute Resolution Efforts: General Secretary Ghimire Meets Leader Dr. Koirala

Kathmandu. General Secretary Gururaj Ghimire has met with leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala in an effort to resolve the internal dispute of the Nepali Congress. General Secretary Ghimire and leader Dr. Koirala met on Friday morning at Koirala's residence in Biratnagar.

General Secretary Ghimire informed that internal politics of the Nepali Congress and contemporary issues were discussed during the meeting.

Leader Koirala's personal secretary Dineshchandra Thapaliya also informed about the meeting between the two leaders.

General Secretary Ghimire met with leader Dr. Koirala at a time when the dispute regarding the 'digital update' of active membership has reached its peak in the Nepali Congress recently.

Leader Koirala and former President Sher Bahadur Deuba's group have not updated the active members who have already renewed, stating that the re-update for the 15th General Convention should not be mandatory.

The establishment faction has already decided that active members who do not update will not be able to participate in the conventions under the 15th General Convention. General Secretary Ghimire met with leader Koirala at a time when this dispute has reached its peak.
