Three Names Recommended for BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital Chairman Post

Kathmandu. Three names have been recommended for the vacant chairman post of BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital in Chitwan. According to sources from the Ministry of Health and Food Hygiene, the names of Dr. Ajay Kumar Jha, Dr. Yogendra Prasad Singh, and Dr. Vijay Chandra Acharya have been recommended. “It is confirmed that three names have been recommended. It is not yet final. We will announce after it is finalized,” said a source close to the Health Minister. The ministry has not yet made public the names of the three individuals who made it to the recommendation list. The Ministry of Health had called for applications for appointment to the vacant chairman post of BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital on Jestha 15. The ministry published a notice on Jestha 15, seeking applications from eligible candidates in accordance with clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Hospital Act, 2053. In line with this, the Ministry of Health had published a preliminary list of seven names on Jestha 27. The preliminary list included Dr. Ajay Kumar Jha, Dr. Jaya Shrestha, Dr. Bhavana Wagley, Dr. Yogendra Prasad Singh, Dr. Laxmi Narayan Singh, Dr. Vijay Chandra Acharya, and Dr. Bishwaram Poudel.
