Pune Businessman Murdered by Fiancee and Lover

Pune. A sensational case has come to light in India. Police investigating the suspicious death of businessman Ketan Vishal Agarwal arrested his fiancee 20-year-old Siya Goyal and lover 22-year-old Chetan Chaudhary on Tuesday.

Both of them are accused of murdering Ketan in a well-planned conspiracy.

Ketan had gone trekking to Pune's Lohagad fort with his fiancee Siya on June 18. Later, his body was recovered from a deep ditch near the fort.

According to the police, Siya and her lover Chetan together pushed Ketan into a 400-foot deep ditch on the fort. After the murder, they even tried to pass it off as an accidental death.

Earlier, the murder of Indore's Raja Raghuwanshi was also committed by his wife Sonam Raghuwanshi pushing him into a deep ditch in Shillong with her lover. After that incident, the police arrested Sonam and sent her to jail, and she is currently out on bail. Now, a similar incident has been repeated in Pune.

The deceased Ketan, 26, was a resident of Gahunje in Pune district and was working as a director in his family's real estate company. On the other hand, the arrested Siya is the daughter of a spice businessman from Pune.

The marriage of both was scheduled to take place in November at a royal palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Preparations for this wedding, decided with the consent of both families, had also begun at home.

Two chartered private planes were also arranged for the guests attending the wedding. According to media reports, the family was preparing to spend about 17 crore rupees on this wedding.

Before the wedding in November, Ketan and Siya were planning to visit Bali, and bookings had also been made for it. But Siya had canceled the trip by making an excuse of losing her passport.

Meanwhile, Ketan had booked 40 rooms at a luxury resort in Mahabaleshwar to celebrate Siya's birthday, and preparations for their pre-wedding photoshoot were also underway at Lohagad fort.

During the police investigation, it was revealed that Siya and her lover Chetan had also planned to murder Ketan at Lohagad fort on June 14. They had tried to push Ketan into the ditch by showing him snakes, but that first plan failed.

At that time, Ketan did not suspect Siya. Five days after the first plan failed, on June 19, Siya planned the trekking again, and during that, Ketan was pushed down from the fort and murdered.
