Two Deaths in Kathmandu and Lalitpur Accidents

Kathmandu. Two people have died in accidents in Kathmandu and Lalitpur. A 9-year-old boy, Walden Tamang, who was injured after being hit by a motorcycle in Bandegaun, Lalitpur, on Sunday afternoon, has died. His treatment was ongoing at Namaste Metro Hospital when he died. The number of the motorcycle that hit the boy is unknown and a search is underway, SP Naresh Subedi of the Metropolitan Traffic Police Office told Ratopati. The deceased boy is a local of Godavari Municipality Ward No.-3. Similarly, a pedestrian died after being hit by a mini-truck going from Bhotebahal towards Tripureshwor. The deceased is a woman around 42 years old. Her name and address are not known. The mini-truck with number Ba.3 Kha 4640 had hit her on Sunday morning at 11 AM. She died during treatment last night, informed SP Subedi. Police have arrested the mini-truck driver, 28-year-old Suman Shrestha, a resident of Damai Tole, Kathmandu, originally from Gulmi.
