Rastriya Swatantra Party Announces Nomination Fees and Procedures for First National Convention

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has made public the nomination fee and procedure for its historic first national convention.< /p>

The party's Central Election Commission on Saturday issued a notice providing information about the fees for various positions, as well as the required proposers, supporters, and documents.< /p>

According to the details published by the commission, a fee of 51,000 rupees has been set for contesting the post of chairman. One proposer and 51 supporters are mandatory for the chairman candidate.< /p>

Similarly, the nomination fee for party office bearers has been set at 41,000 rupees and for central members at 21,000 rupees. For both office bearer and central member positions, there is a provision of one proposer and 21 supporters. According to the commission, the names of the individuals who will be proposers and supporters of the candidate must be included in the list of representatives.< /p>

Documents Required for Nomination

The Election Commission has made the following documents mandatory for nomination registration:
1. Filled nomination application form.
2. Cash receipt or bank voucher for paying the nomination fee.
3. Self-declaration stating that no disciplinary action has been taken against oneself.
4. Copy of party membership certificate.
5. 2 passport-size photos.
