Four Ordinances Issued by Balendra Shah's Government Become Law

Kathmandu. Four ordinances issued by the Balendra Shah-led government in the past Baisakh have become law. After being passed by both houses of the Federal Parliament (House of Representatives and National Assembly) and authenticated by President Ramchandra Paudel, the four ordinances brought by the Balen government have been transformed into acts.

Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal informed the House of Representatives on Friday about President Paudel authenticating the four bills. The Office of the President has informed the Federal Parliament Secretariat that President Paudel has authenticated the four bills in accordance with Article 113, Sub-section (2) of the Constitution of Nepal.

The government had brought ordinances by suspending the session of the Federal Parliament in the past Baisakh. The replacement bills for those ordinances have been passed by both houses of the Federal Parliament and authenticated by the President. The Public Procurement (Second Amendment) Act, 2083, the Anti-Money Laundering (Third Amendment) Act, 2083, the Cooperatives (First Amendment) Act, 2083, and the Act to Amend Some Nepal Acts Related to Health Sciences Academy, 2083 have been authenticated.
