Two Juveniles Escape Juvenile Reform Home in Birgunj, Recaptured

Parsa. Police have succeeded in apprehending two juveniles who had escaped from the Juvenile Reform Home in Birgunj Metropolitan City-4, Parsa, within an hour and a half. Both juveniles, who were kept in the Juvenile Reform Home for serving sentences in dacoity and theft cases, had escaped today afternoon by breaking the ventilation of the toilet. The apprehended individuals are 10-year-old Nausad Sah, son of Bashir Sah, and 11-year-old Nazir Sah, son of Shahid Sah, residing in Malangwa Municipality-3, Sarlahi District. They had escaped today afternoon around 13:20 by breaking the ventilation of the toilet on the upper floor of the building located east of the Juvenile Reform Home and evading security personnel. Upon receiving information about the juveniles' escape, a special police team was deployed from the District Police Office, Parsa, and extensive search operations were immediately launched. During the search, the police team succeeded in taking both individuals under control around 15:30 near the Miteri Bridge in the Nepal-India border area. Police stated that both juveniles were apprehended at the border while they were about to escape towards India. Further investigation into the incident has been initiated after taking both apprehended juveniles back into custody.
