House of Representatives to Discuss and Pass Appropriation Bill, 2083

Kathmandu. The meeting of the House of Representatives under the Federal Parliament has been scheduled to respond to questions focused on various ministry titles in the Appropriation Bill, 2083 and to pass the bill on Wednesday. The meeting, to be held at 11 am in Singh Durbar, will feature concerned ministers clarifying the queries raised by the members of parliament. As per the agenda, discussions will be held on the budget titles of the Ministry of Education and Sports, Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Ministry of Infrastructure Development, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance, and Ministry of Defence. Furthermore, concerned ministers will also respond to questions raised on various titles of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the Secretariat of the National Planning Commission, the Office of the President, and the Office of the Vice-President. In the meeting, the Speaker will present for decision the proposals for expenditure reduction presented by 20 members on various ministry titles under the Appropriation Bill, 2083. The members presenting expenditure reduction proposals include Kripa Ram Rana, Yuvraj Dulal, Parvati BK, Ashuda Kumari Baral, Jog Kumar Barabariya Yadav, Guru Prasad Baral, Santosh Subba, Mohammad Istiyak Rai, Nita Ghatani, Balawati Sharma, Parshuram Tamang, Bishnumaya BK, Arjun Kumar Karki, Yagya Bahadur Bogati, Narendra Kumar Kerung, Ain Bahadur Mahar, Ramesh Kumar Malla, Pushpa Raj Kandel, Sajida Khatun Siddiki, and Padma Kumari Aryal. Under management work, various clauses of the Appropriation Bill, 2083 will be presented for decision today itself. Following that, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle will present a proposal to pass the Appropriation Bill, 2083, according to the Parliament Secretariat.
