Rastriya Swatantra Party Announces Final Candidate List for Second Phase of Officer Selection

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has published the final list of candidates for the second phase of officer selection. As none of the candidates for the chairmanship secured (50 plus 1) percent votes in the first phase, Shalikram Ghimire, who received the highest votes in the second phase, was declared victorious unanimously.

C.M. Upadhyay has been victorious for the general secretary post. The commission has published the final list of candidates for the remaining officer positions.

According to Election Officer Gokul Sapkota, for one vice-chairman post, Bhakta Bahadur Dangi, Kamal Prasad Pokharel, Durga Aryal, and Loknath BK have filed their candidacies.

For one male joint general secretary post, E. Bikram Poudel, Rabin Thapa, Vishnu Prasad Poudel, and Niraj Gahatraj have filed their candidacies. Gautam Prasad Pandey has withdrawn his candidacy. For one female joint general secretary post, Muna Hamal and Naushit Fatima have filed their candidacies.
