Bir Hospital Contract Staff Protest Over Service Facilities

Kathmandu. Contract employees working at Bir Hospital have taken to the streets in protest. They have come out in protest on Friday, citing that they have been deprived of service facilities. The contract employees are agitated, accusing the hospital of labor exploitation. Their complaint is that they have been deprived of the service facilities that have been provided since the past. One contract employee said that they have not even received risk allowance. He said, 'We have picketed the director's office. From tomorrow, we will do a pen down.'
