Rabi Lamichhane Receives High Honor from India, Says Party General Secretary

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) General Secretary Kabindra Burlaoti has said that the high honor given to Chairman Rabi Lamichhane by neighboring country India is a respect for the mandate. 

Rabi led delegation reached New Delhi on Jestha 18th for a five-day visit at the invitation of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The party and the government gave a grand welcome to the delegation. 

In the House of Representatives election held last Falgun, the RSP had won seats close to two-thirds with 5.185 million popular votes. Rabi was honored by the Prime Minister of India, Home Minister, Foreign Minister, and high officials of the BJP. 

Expressing happiness over the honor received by Rabi, General Secretary Burlaoti said – ‘The honor given to our chairman by India is respect for the mandate. This has added more height to the relationship between the two parties, countries, and peoples.’
