KP Sharma Oli: Party members criticizing leadership are mistaken

Kathmandu. CPN UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that those criticizing the leadership within the party are mistaken. Chairman Oli said this while inaugurating the membership renewal expansion and motivation workshop which started from Wednesday in Kathmandu. 

He also said that the party needs to be united.  'Some friends have seen confusion and misunderstanding. Not understanding the attacks by the opposition and condemning themselves for their own shortcomings', Oli said, 'Some are harboring the illusion that if nothing works, the party will move forward smoothly by cutting off their heads and placing them on the table. Such thoughts have also been seen occasionally in the party.' 

He said that there should be a review in the party, but the review should be done to make the party itself agile and efficient. Chairman Oli gave this answer to those who criticize him at a time when questions about party restructuring and leadership transition are being raised. 'Our party needs to be united to face the opposition. We must be united in the party's policies and ideology', Oli said - 'Some should not speak looking this way, some looking the other way. The party must function in a disciplined manner.'

Chairman Oli said that those who run to sign by abandoning the party's methods, laws, and procedures, and those who run around spreading confusion, cannot lead the party according to its procedures.
