Man dies in want of medical treatment

Gaighat (Udayapur) - A 44 – year – old man was found dead this morning in front of GK Book Store at the major intersection in Gaighat. 

Hari Rai, a resident of BP Chowk of Triyuga Municipality – 12, was found dead at the intersection. He had been ill for some days. 

According to District Police Office, Udayapur, Rai's economic condition was dire and he could not afford a treatment. After relatives also jilted him, Rai started wondering in the streets and spending the nights on the roads. 

Rai had spent the last night on the road in front of the book store, said Inspector Devi Prasad Phagu. 

Rai was suffering from jaundice and mental health problems, and died due to lack of treatment, police say.
