Hetauda-Kulekhani-Phakel Road Closed for One Month for Construction

Makwanpur. The short distance route connecting Hetauda-Kathmandu, the Hetauda-Kulekhani-Phakel road, has been closed for one month. The Hetauda-Kulekhani-Phakel-Pharping road, the short distance connecting Bagmati Province's capital Hetauda and federal capital Kathmandu, has been completely closed for one month from Jestha 15.

The road has been completely closed as per the request made by the Infrastructure Development Office, Hetauda to the District Administration Office, Makwanpur for construction work. A concrete bridge is being constructed at Mahalakshmi Khola in Ward No. 2 of Indrasarobar Rural Municipality under the said road section, and the road is being closed as the work of concreting the road is scheduled to start from Jestha 15 in the same section. 

The road has been closed due to the pressure to complete the work within the current fiscal year 2082/83 and the obstruction to the construction work due to the excessive traffic on the road and the suffering that passengers will have to face due to traffic jams. Passengers and vehicle owners have been requested to use the Heavy-Sisneri-Dakshinkali-Pharping road section as an alternative route.
