GANDAKI CHIEF MINISTER SURENDRA RAJ PANDE SAYS CULTURE STRENGTHENS NATIONAL UNITY

Pokhara. Gandaki Province Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey has said that our traditions and cultures will further strengthen the spirit of national unity.

Extending best wishes on the occasion of the Muslim community's festival Bakar Eid, he said that festivals like Eid strengthen mutual respect, social harmony, and the spirit of national unity.

Expressing belief that this festival will inspire further strengthening of mutual harmony, tolerance, reconciliation, and social unity, he said in the message, "Unity in diversity is Nepal's unique characteristic. Gandaki Province is also an excellent example of multilingual, multicultural, and multi-religious coexistence. It is believed that the preservation and promotion of our common cultural heritage and unique traditions will contribute to the development of tourism and economic prosperity along with enhancing social harmony."
