16 Police Inspectors Recommended for Promotion to DSP

Kathmandu. Sixteen police inspectors (Inspectors) working under various technical groups of the Nepal Police have been recommended for promotion to the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).

The Promotion Committee Secretariat of the Police Headquarters published the promotion recommendation list for the vacant posts in various sub-groups of the technical police group as per the decision of the meeting held on Wednesday.

For the 9 vacant DSP posts for doctors, Dr. Amit Kumar Thakur, Dr. Rituraj Baral, Dr. Alina Shrestha, Dr. Prabhakar Shrestha, Dr. Raman Ghimire, Dr. Mahadev Deuja, Dr. Sanjiv Kumar Yadav, Dr. Subash Chandra Gautam, Dr. Rajani Maharjan have been recommended.

One police inspector has been recommended for promotion to DSP in nursing. Niroosha Maharjan, working in the Nursing Department of Nepal Police Hospital, has been recommended for DSP.

Five police inspectors have been recommended for promotion to DSP in the engineering sub-group, information technology computer. Those recommended are Bechan Kumar Yadav, Sandip Karki, Jai Prakash Singh, Satyendra Kumar Mishra and Krishna Nath.

One police inspector has been recommended for promotion to DSP in the forensic science sub-group. Yamlal Basnet, working in the Forensic Science Unit Pokhara of the Nepal Provincial Police Office, has been recommended for the post of DSP.
