35 Lawmakers Register Amendments to House of Representatives Regulations Draft

Kathmandu. 35 lawmakers have registered amendment proposals to the 'House of Representatives Regulations Draft, 2083'. Proposals have been registered by lawmakers from various political parties on the draft submitted to the House of Representatives by the committee chaired by Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmaker Ganesh Parajuli. 

The amendments registered on the committee's report demand revisions to various provisions of the regulations. 

Lawmakers from the ruling party RSP have also registered amendments to the regulations. Bipin Acharya, Sagar Dhakal, Bharat Giri, and Shambhuprasad Dhakal, who are also joint general secretaries of RSP, have registered amendment proposals. 

Those who submitted amendment notices include Narendra Kumar Kerung, Bharat Bahadur Khadka, and Harkaraj Rai. Harkaraj Rai has registered separate amendments in collaboration with Radhika Ramtel, Purna Prasad Limbu, and Aaren Rai. Aaren Rai has also submitted an amendment individually. 

Similarly, Mahendra Bahadur Shahi, Shambhuprasad Dhakal, Ganesh Bahadur Bishwakarma, Dr. Pramila Kumari Gachchhadar, and Gita Gurung have also registered amendments to the draft with their suggestions for improvement. Other lawmakers who submitted amendments include Rina Upreti (K.C.), Sushila Dhakal (Acharya), Sarala Lama, Tahir Ali Bhat, and Matrika Prasad Yadav. 

Gangalakshmi Awal, Bharat Giri, Parwati B.K., Gopal Sharma, Kamal Subedi, and Bishnumaya B.K. have also registered amendments for the revision of the House regulations. Yagya Bahadur Bogati, Gangadevi Shrestha, Sajida Khatun Siddiki, Tukabhadra Hamal, Yashoda Kumari Baral, and Bhumika Limbu Subba have also registered amendments. 

Nita Ghatani, Kripa Ram Rana, Laxmi Prasad Pokharel, Guruprasad Baral, Khitij Thebe, and Kulbhakt Shakya have registered amendments. Deputy Secretary of the Bill Branch of the Parliament Secretariat, Trivikram Gyawali, informed that Sagar Dhakal and Bipin Kumar Acharya jointly submitted the amendment notice. 

All these registered amendment proposals will now be discussed clause by clause in the House of Representatives meeting. The new regulations will be finalized only after the proposals put forth by the lawmakers are passed by the House.
