Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal to Conduct Month-Long Campaign for Party Consolidation

Kathmandu. Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal is going to conduct a month-long interaction and party strengthening campaign to complete the party adjustment. Central member of the party Shailendra Sah said that the campaign will be conducted by holding a grand party meeting in each district to advance the adjustment work for party adjustment. The party made this decision during a three-day meeting. Responsibilities have been assigned in each district for this. A month ago, Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal and Loktantrik Party Nepal merged. Although both parties have merged, the central committee, other committees, and sister organizations have not yet been adjusted. The meeting has decided to expedite the adjustment. For now, it has been decided to form one central committee by adjusting the central committees of both parties. Leader Sah said that individuals who are inactive in the central committee, committed anti-party activities in the elections, or left the party will be expelled from the party and the central committees of the two parties will be adjusted. A task force has also been formed to form the central committee. The meeting has decided that this task force will prepare the adjustment procedure and advance the adjustment work. The meeting has also decided to call a gathering of party representatives who won in the local level in each district. It is the time to form policies, programs, and budget. It is said that the representatives will be gathered and given direction for this. The party has decided that this gathering must be completed within this month of Jestha. Similarly, a decision has been made to call a gathering of candidates who participated in the last House of Representatives election. This gathering will be at the provincial level. It is said that the gathering will review the election and also discuss the preparation for the upcoming election. A negotiation committee has been formed under the leadership of party leader Rakam Chemjong to negotiate for party unity and working unity. Dr. Surendra Jha and Renu Yadav have been included in this committee. There is talk of a merger between Jaspa Nepal and Janamat Party. Talks have been held between the two parties several times. Leader Sah said that talks are ongoing for unity with other parties.
