Congress MP Arjun Narsingh KC Proposes Constitution Amendment Through Roundtable Conference

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress MP Arjun Narsingh KC has stated that a commission led by a former Chief Justice and a roundtable conference with everyone's participation should be held for constitution amendment. 

He said that the current constitution amendment discussion task force in the ongoing meeting of the House of Representatives has revolved only around the ruling powers and that this would not create an environment for amendment. 

"To create an environment for constitution amendment, a commission should be formed under the convenorship of a former Chief Justice. A roundtable conference should be held with everyone's participation," said MP KC. 

KC stated that an environment should be created to ensure everyone's participation in the constitution amendment.
