Lumbini Province Assembly to Discuss Policy and Program for FY 2083/84

Rupandehi. The eighth session of the Lumbini Provincial Assembly, the seventh meeting, will begin discussions on the policy and program for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84 from today.

According to the probable agenda publicized by the Provincial Assembly Secretariat, the meeting will commence discussions on the government's policy and program for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84.

At the beginning of the meeting, Provincial Assembly members will express their views on contemporary issues during the zero hour. Following that, the Minister for Social Development, Janmajaya Timilsina, will present the 'Bill to Protect the Traditional Customs of the Tharu Community, 2083' in the assembly.

Similarly, a copy of the 'Annual Policy and Program' for the fiscal year 2083/84 of the Lumbini Province Government, presented by the Province Chief, will be presented in the assembly by Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya.

Provincial Assembly member Tulsiprasad Chaudhary will present a proposal for a vote of thanks for the address on the Annual Policy and Program, and this proposal will be seconded by Provincial Assembly member Jamuna Dhakal. Thereafter, the Speaker will present the proposal for a decision.

In the meeting, Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya will present a proposal to commence discussions on the 'Annual Policy and Program'.

After the discussions on the proposal, Provincial Assembly members will participate in the discussions on the policy and program, as informed by the Provincial Assembly Secretariat.
